Well don't know why possibly I like movies where they portray women in positions of hegemony be it in good form or bad..........
And probably for that reason I liked the title track - "Alee Re".
Still need to decipher my inner me for the reasons as to why this way too feminist attitude in me is existent.
Authenticity is like pregnancy........Either something is authentic and genuine or is not......We usually can never say "Oh.....XYZ is a lil authentic or genuine" in the similar lines of not ever stating "She is a lil pregnant" .........Either she is pregnant or she is not...........
Another year went by...........As I started listening to this season "Auld Lang Syne" in Irish.......Yeah I did believe that this year indeed had loadsa news...........Women spread around in scams.........Kabhi to log bola karthe the "All Wars are fought coz of women :-p who end up being mere spectators" :-)
Starting from the Radia Tapes case to Arushi Case........chipped in with the political ramp walk done by Carla Bruni to fight for freedom of speech by Arundanthi Roy.............
Indulging ourselves more in reminiscence, Sunanda Pushkar needs a special mention..........The entire Kochi Issue hovered around the pretty lady...........Ironically a Kashmiri woman (Pushkar) entangles herself in an issue based down south and a petite Keralite woman (Roy) bewildering the Indian coliseum with her bold statements on Kashmir.............
Indeed India continues to prove itself to be one of the most diverse countries with Radia wavering the entire nation too.............
And well of course digging again into our attempts to reminisce, Barkha Dutt cannot be forgotten
in the lobbying case...........Exemplifying orchestration of what she kept iterating as ethical pieces of information......"Barkha Badnaam Hui Darling Kiske Liye :-p "
Yeppies I say am happy as ever..............The year did strike an eventful end with two fictitious women capturing hearts of the very common man of India.............Munni and Sheila............
An astoundingly amazing propinquity yaaaar............
Dat every pub, resort, party, restrauzzz played just these two songs :-p and with again "The very common Indian Men" stroking their chests on its beats dancing to the tunes........
Signing off.......... saying this year indeed saw an amalgamation of "Factitious Women" conquering Newsrooms and............"Fictitious Women" capturing "Ball Rooms" :-p ................
