Knock Knock.......Deo here :-)

This is a special write up for a very special someone but on request of that special someone's special someone :-) That makes it more special.Pamz on your request here it flows!

I was 2years old and I absolutely don't remember my Mom expecting a new member in the family.

Well, but I remember the sequel of events which made my childhood all the more extraordinary.
My first realization that someone new is coming happened when suddenly Mamma disappeared for a couple of days from home.Don't know when she left but yeah for kids when hunger strikes, they probably realize that mom's not around.I used to stay at Bhowmick Uncle's place and I remember aunty mixing rice for me and me crying not wanting to eat.

Suddenly after three indescribable days of missing home, Uncle shouted, " Tithi Mamma eshegache" (Tithi, Mamma is here) and I ran out into the garden to see her with a small baby in hand comping out of the tempo.(Oh don't remind me of those tempos of Lucknow.)
Bapi behind paying the tempo driver.Mamma all fine and all smiles.Faded memory but yes,I remember me running out very distinctively.

That was my first rendezvous with Dolu aka Dholraj aka Pooja aka Deo aka Puchki aka Shonai :-)
Call her anything.......

More events were in trail though I never realized they would.......

Ma asking me to sit beside her as she would go to Saxena Aunty's place to get something and I would keep watching the cute little very silent baby lying on the divan in the drawing room.
Playing on her own mostly with my toys.Ma says I was a little jealous when Deo was born.Seeing all the attention diverted to her.

Her homecoming obviously saw all the aunties and uncles of our colony rushing with gifts for her.
Deo as a baby was very fair and plump......Am absolute cutie pie! So she turned out to be a baby which every lady would come and cuddle.......Ofcourse I had to be green eyed :-)

My Mom never worked till Dhol was in school. She joined the same school as Dhol did in the same locality. And I used to study in a far 0ff school called St. Thomas and usually would come earlier than them.I would wait for them to come from school at Saxena Aunty's place. My favorite pass time was stealing rabri from aunty's kitchen when she would be knitting woolens in the sun.

Reminiscing another event......This was when Deo and me both shifted to St. Mary's Convent at Lucknow.......Ma worked at Spring Dales then and came back home later than us.......So we used to open the lock at home then..........Amazingly there was a theft in the house...........

When we both entered things were haywire and hither thither........
We obviously guessed there was a theft but when Mom came back she freaked out and immediately checked whatever was missing..........Well dunno Y I got some special pleasure that
police had visited our place........Trying to trace the burglars' through some footsteps!!!!!

It was the "Tehkikaat Era" then........A favorite we both would watch every Tuesday.......
And there was many more.........Most of our favs were the same except a few.......
Like our choice of afternoon starworld shows and hum paanch...........For obvious we've had our "pull hair, pinch and scratch" cat and dog fights........Such severe marks which have stayed for a decade on my hand........ :-)

Then we have had slow races of finishing sweets.......The slow roshogolla finishing race......and guess who used to win........The Very Patient Deo............and as for me I again wanted a share of mithai from her.........So there were fights again..........

I have always heard my parents say that the younger siblings copy their elder ones, so I am the one who has to always behave responsibly......And I have had my innumerable shares of shower of advice and encounters with wooden scales for my misdemeanor ;-).................

One such fine day was when my dearest sister was playing with some screws, screwdrivers, wires, tighteners, fuse etc etc..........(Well, my dad is an electrical engineer so we always found equipments easy to play with than dolls and teddies)

Eventually she inserted a screw into her nose......So deep into the civilization :-p that the screw refused to come out but for a doctor's help...........And the criminal behind the disaster is me................Result: Anger poured through umbrella oscillations on my tender back.........:-)

Won't ever forget our skiing sprees with Nycil Powder all over the bedroom floor and running through the alley and slipping.........What adventure it seemed then..........

Incidents beyond numerals, my fingers can count.......

Deo's sudden fascination for Art Of Living! Nothing in the world can convince me into it and nothing in the world can convince her out of it........I still don't understand how can something lead to someone leaving their favorite food.........She left Eggs for the sake of being Veg :-) Kudos to AOL.............(Dhol I know am killed ;-) )

Due respect to our differences honey sister............but yeah sudden disappearance of beer cans especially the gifted ones from the refrigerator is unfair................My Moral Science Teacher..........

Love Ya Dholssss...............Mmuahhhhh :-)
